If You Were A Turkey, It Wasn't A Good Day For You.

Thanksgiving is a few months away, but it was time for the 2 resident turkeys at Faith Mountain Farm to be done with living.
No, Mark wasn't crying and wiping his tears with a turkey's butt.
Nothing says FUN more than poking turkey guts with a knife.

The rooster kept a close eye to make sure it was just turkeys and not other farm fowl. They should all smartin up, if they know what's best for them. If animals had feelings, I'm not sure the rooster was showing sympathy or relief or thinking "better you than me Bub."

Well I guess no one should expect an invitation to dinner on Thanksgiving based on the size of THIS turkey. (If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I would have thought it was the chickens getting the ax by the size of it.)

For the record, those weren't RAISED by us. I don't want anyone thinking that we farmers don't know how to fatten up a turkey. We just inherited them...just so everyone is clear on that! ;)
