My life is full of all sorts of blessings. Most of which are my fantastic husband and our adventures together and my family. My love of my family, (particularly my sister's kids), and travel, have manifested itself in my love of photography. Here is where I will "show off" the people and moments I love and hold dear.

The thrill of the (slight) downhill ride makes it seem worth dragging your bike uphill to experience it. My friend Brittney joined us. She had never made a S'more before. It was her first one. Anna seemed to be a S'more pro. MMMMMMMM!!! Mykenna gets a big hug from her Mom. Or did Kimberly get a big hug from Mykenna?? Does it matter? Hugs are awesome. Who wore it better?

Ok- so I've lived minutes from the world famous Kenai River, known for it's salmon fishing, for 8 years now. And you know what? Just this July I actually fished on it. Rebecca's new boyfriend Mike was in town and she wanted to take him fishing, so I tagged along. I generally don't like eating salmon, which is why I never fished for them. But I have a new mission for my honorary nephew Zak in NY. He only likes salmon when he has an appetite to eat. Unfortunately, the only salmon in NY is inferior Atlantic farmed salmon. So I am fishing for him. Problem is, this was the only stupid fish I caught after standing in the river for 4 hours. You catch reds by snagging them with a hook and you can only keep them if they are snagged in the mouth. I beleive this to be dumb. So now I will fish for Silver salmon next week. You actually use bait. Much more to my liking. Then I'll actually have something worth sending-hopefully.
Denali (or Mt McKinley as the outside calls it) is North America's tallest mountain. She was clear and spectacular the day we came home from the slope. The pilots even dipped the wing to let passengers take some pictures.
Slopers are some of the MOST patriotic, America lovin' people you will ever meet. This oil company got the biggest flags they could (pretty close to Perkins size), and flew them off a crane. God Bless America!
Rebecca is now a Mary Kay consultant, and her 1st party was for family members. Miss Anna watched and listened intently and followed along with the tools she had.
I find the video kinda funny because when there are children playing outside,in the neighborhood or any other function, most children like to scream. Jerry often asks "Why MUST they scream?" I always answer that it's because they are kids and it's fun and they do it to show what a good time they are having. Somehow he must've finally understood, because he didn't even flinch when Anna did it in his ear.
