My life is full of all sorts of blessings. Most of which are my fantastic husband and our adventures together and my family. My love of my family, (particularly my sister's kids), and travel, have manifested itself in my love of photography. Here is where I will "show off" the people and moments I love and hold dear.

Christmas Eve 2007
Moose Pass Community Church always puts on a great Christmas Eve service. This year was no exception. Andrew was a handsome shepherd(with a speaking part). He did awesome!Jacob played a young and dashing Joseph. He was the silent type, small of stature, but on queue.
Anna was as pretty as ever. Unfortunately she had to sit this year's production out. Too big to be Jesus-too small to be an Angel. She'll debut one of these years.

We Closed!
We finally closed on the house today! It's officially ours and the bank's. I've been running around switching the utilities over, so I stopped by the apartment and got on the internet quick to drop a line to you all. Thank you all for all your prayers. If you could continue them as we try and set our home up with as few miscommunications and injuries as possible, it would be appreciated.

WE MOVED !!
YAAY! Though we haven't closed yet.... Our contractor/financer was really sick on Thursday and Friday but said that if we brought him proof of insurance, he would let us move in this weekend. We will close then on Monday. Jerry and I emptied our storage(staging) unit on Thursday, my Dad helped w/ heavy stuff on Friday and Jerry and I are getting the rest of the piddly stuff we didn't really have room for or ran out of boxes to pack up. I feel bad that we begged off helping Wendy move, but we really hadn't finished up yet ourselves. Though, Wendy is sending a bunch of stuff back in the Uhaul for us to unload at our apartment to sell in next week's indoor garage/moving sale.
Now for a funny yet frustrating story:
I called ACS to switch our phone and DSL internet service to the new place. Nice guy named Glen said the earliest they could come out and activate those lines would be Thursday the 13th. No problem. But then I get a lady from ACS leaving me a message that they would be unable to perform that order on the date scheduled. They would call us and let us know the rescheduled date but had no ETA at this time. She closed the message with: and I quote "No need to call us-we will call you". HUH? And how will we be getting that message?... We moved and have no service...........??? The call I did make to them has yet gone unanswered.... So- no idea when phones and internet will be available to us. NEW # 907-262-3959.

Sunrise on Bridge Access
I had to be at work @8:30a, but coming across the bridge flats I saw that the sunrise had the potential to be SPLENDID! I decided that being late to work would be worth watching God's painting in progress. I was right and was rewarded with this amazing sunrise.

It's Gettin' Doner and Doner
So things seem to be progressing in a timely fashion. We haven't been told yet that Wednesday will not be a go. This weekend Jerry and I put up all the window drapery hardware, painted the bathrooms, repainted the spare rooms, and did some other paint touchups. Since the last post, the tile is all laid but no grout and no carpet yet. 1 kitchen countertop and both bathroom countertops are set and 1 appliance installed. The doors and closet shelves are mounted and some plumbing is set. So please keep prayers going. It's gettin' done.
